Dance Repertory Theater at UT:Austin

This immersive set design included a 360 degree array of projectable wall panels, projectable marley floor, and white covered chairs throughout the theater.  The concert was a collection of 11 dance pieces exploring the influence of African American culture upon contemporary dance in the twenty-first century.  In this sterile white space, projection included curated textural interludes between each piece and a heavily designed (Re)current Unrest (choreographer Charles Anderson) that wove the iconography of US racial tensions and current activist art juxtaposed with rain and tree textures.
